On August 16, Defence Secretary of India, Rajesh Kumar Singh arrived in Armenia on an official visit.

On August 17, at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defence, Minister Suren Papikyan received Defence Secretary of India, Rajesh Kumar Singh who arrived in Armenia on an official visit.
The Minister of Defence Suren Papikyan highly appreciated the progress of cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, Armenia-India defence cooperation was discussed, including issues related to military-technical cooperation.
The parties also discussed issues related to regional and international security.

During the meeting with the Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Karen Brutyan, issues related to Armenia-India cooperation in the defence sector, in particular, military-technical cooperation, were discussed. 

First Deputy Minister of Defence, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan also received the Indian official. Within the framework of the previously reached agreement, the parties exchanged a document defining the new format of cooperation between the General Staffs of the Armed Forces of the two countries. 

On August 18, Indian Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh, who was on an official visit to Armenia, visited the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy of the Ministry of Defence, accompanied by the First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan.
The Indian Defense Secretary was introduced to the activities of the military academy, the educational environment and the educational process. During the visit, Rajesh Kumar Singh met with the teaching staff of the educational institution.

On August 19, acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia had a meeting with Defence Secretary of the Republic of India Rajesh Kumar Singh. Both sides highly appreciated the dynamically developing Armenia-India relations. During the meeting, a wide range of issues related to the growing cooperation between the two countries was discussed. Views were exchanged on issues of regional and international security. The Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia briefed on the efforts undertaken by the Republic of Armenia to the further institutionalization of peace in the South Caucasus.

Within the framework of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding on "Cooperation in the Field of Research, Development, Innovation and Joint Production in the Field of Defense Industry" was signed between the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of India.
